In order to assure confirmation of reservations, a contribution of $25.00 is requested with the return of your reservation form. A free will offering of $170.00 is requested for this Men's Weekend Retreat, but no one is ever turned away from our retreats due to inability to pay.

On October 4, 2007 two retired Philadelphia Police Officers, Joseph Alullo and William Widmaier, were stalked, and ambushed as they were working for the Loomis Armored Car Company by Mustafa Ali. They were both killed and have left behind devastated family and friends.

We have decided to bring friends, loved ones, brothers and sisters in blue, to celebrate the lives of these 2 heroes and show their families that they are not forgotten and that we support them with all of our hearts.
__________
Joe Alullo was my best friend as well as partner in the Special Victims Unit. His tragic murder has been devestating to his wife Donna, daughters Katie, Gina and Lisa and grandaughter Emma. He quite frankly was one of the best police officers I have ever known and an incredible investigator. He not only treated victims as if they were his daughters, he was professional in his interaction with perpetrators. He was an incredible husband and father, who sacrificed much to see that his daughters were educated. Sadly, he retired and had to pick up and job with poor pay and benifits for the sake of his family. I realize that the memorial is for those brave officers who died in the line of duty and should be kept so, but maybe retired officers who died in a similar fashion to Joe, could also be honored in some way. I will miss him dearly.

Thanks again
